Our Copywriter/QC/Proofreader will be responsible for the strategic development of copy as well as QC for all in-store materials for one of the largest multinational technology companies in the world.


The Copywriter/QC/Proofreader should have extended expertise in proofreading as well as the ability to create unique and clever written content for a retail environment. They will partner with the creative team to develop high-level, strategic, conceptual and creative concepts and carry them through execution, staffing appropriately as necessary.


Work is typically performed under minimal daily supervision, receiving guidance from manager/supervisor about the work that needs to be completed. Able to exercise high level of discretion and latitude in completing tasks.

  • Partner with associate creative director and creative team to develop concepts and strategies that achieve business objectives
  • Execute exceptional communication and presentation skills while juggling multiple projects
  • Work closely with ACD to develop editorial strategy
  • Develop copy to support the client’s marketing objectives
  • Offer forward-thinking and exciting ideas
  • Work with designers to ensure copy and imagery aligns, providing insights and solutions
  • Provide oversight and editorial review of existing copy for style, brand voice, grammar, punctuation, logos, photo and copy relationships, spelling, and overall style consistency
  • Quality check page layouts for type characteristics and adherence to layout style, check work of others
  • Brings a collaborative, energetic, positive, can-do attitude to the team

  • Excellent editorial judgment and sensibilities.
  • 6+ years of experience in QC/copywriting, content creation, or editorial roles.
  • Experience managing and completing projects and/or leading high functioning teams.
  • Ability to both strategize and ideate at a very high level, and “get your hands dirty” in the details to get things done.
  • Have a natural curiosity and voracious appetite for high-quality stories, perspectives, and ideas.
  • Must have strong organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines, prioritize workload, and make adjustment to meet business needs.
  • Demonstrated expert working knowledge of copywriting. Must possess a strong portfolio of imaginative work. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel, Adobe Suite, and Internet research abilities. Ability to provide creative concepts and possess a high-level understanding of retail advertising.
