Copywriter - Content Specialist

Responsibilities 

● Align end-user needs with the strategic goal of content and bring the voice of the end-user to creative strategy discussions 

● Research and develop content for a wide variety of audiences relevant to company objectives 

● Create advertising/marketing copywriting, content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, end-user support, and internal communications content as assigned 

● Create content in a variety of forms that include text-based digital and mediums, as well as graphic, and video formats 

● Curate content from a variety of sources in a format tailored to the information needs of endusers 

● Coordinate with outside agencies, outside partners, internal creative resources, and other stakeholders 

● Maintain, evolve, and document, the company’s brand voice, and style

● Proofread and edit content for grammar, spelling, and sentence structure

● Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule 

● Be a source of the latest content development strategies and techniques across digital and non-digital mediums 

● Self-accountability for clarity and accuracy in copy 

● Prioritize and manage multiple projects within given specifications and budget restrictions 

● Deconstruct complex topics in ways that foster audience engagement and comprehension 

● Manage, maintain, and update content for company communications and keep an organized content asset library. 

 

Requeriments

● Fresno-based.

 ● 4+ years copywriting experience in campaign channels including: video, social, digital & traditional media, native, websites, etc.

● Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English or another relevant field 

● Understanding of information design to communicate in ways that are easiest for users to understand complex concepts in different mediums. 

● Ability to write clean, concise, and compelling content in a fast-paced environment 

● Understanding of on-site and off-site SEO 

● Experience overseeing ideas from inception to launch

 ● Expertise in articulating differentiated brand voice and tone through copy 

● Strong project management skills 

● Analytical skills and a strong desire to understand the performance of your content 

● Professional attitude and ability to objectively give and receive constructive feedback 

● Proficient in office software and comfortable using collaboration tools for project management and social media management 

● Experience operating a content management system to manage website content 

● Ability to update files in creative authoring software such as Adobe creative software 

● Strong communications and active listening skills 

● Ability to approach strategy by starting with a deep understanding of the audience and Keiser users 

● Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention
