What that means for the junior copywriter—we live in a highly technical market. We work with amazing subject matter experts. (Seriously. They are amazing.) We take their highly technical content and make it concise and engaging for our audience. Whether that’s online ads, email, web content, collateral, or posts on the community, really, it kind of depends on the day. 


The person who thrives in this environment has:

  • The ability to interview stakeholders and translate that into marketing gold

A snapshot at what the day-to-day might look like:

  • Report into the Senior Content Marketing Manager
  • Write or edit copy for marketing emails, online ads, and webinar invites
  • Review work from external writers to ensure consistency with our message
  • Take the jargon out wherever possible
  • Assist with ideation, setting editorial calendar, and creating copy for blog
  • Occasionally help other departments with written communications


And because this is a job req after all, some requirements (but we’re open to those who may not entirely have them all, so send your resume!!):

  • 2+ years of creative agency or in-house experience (or equivalent)
  • B2B experience would be good; experience in the cybersecurity industry would be great
  • Expert understanding of English grammar
  • Familiarity with writing for different channels—including but not limited to: social media, web, video, blog
  • Ability to change writing style for different stakeholders (to capture their “voice”)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
  • This position is based in San Francisco
